Islanders' Expression No. 01
The Jura Islanders’ Expressions range brings the community of Jura closer to the whisky than ever before, collaborating with creatives from within our tiny island community.
For Jura Islanders’ Expressions Collection No.1 we have worked with jeweller Amy Dunnachie, to reflect the vibrancy and life of a Jura Whisky aged in ex-rum casks from Barbados. A coming together of two great islands, celebrated with a handmade piece of jewellery created by a Jura native.
Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden bronze.
Nose
Vibrant and rich tropical fruit, citrus, coconut and natural vanilla, with undertones of crystalised ginger and fresh baked brioche.
Taste
Sweet notes of vanilla, grilled peaches and syruped bananas. Tropical fruits including spiced mangoes, papaya, ripe passion fruit and deep lime come through.
